The History of Plants That Grow
Plants That Grow began 50 years ago when a young man’s gardening
hobby and his passion for growing plants started in a small greenhouse. With
his mother’s help, they nurtured their plants until demand and success
for the plants they grew set the trend and future for ‘Plants That Grow’.
The hobby quickly blossomed into a full time job and soon the small greenhouse
expanded into a small business together with a family of a wife and two children.
50 years later and still on the original site; the founder of ‘Plants
That Grow’ continues to run the business with the same family values
and ethos that it was founded upon. We believe that every customer deserves
the best service, produce and prices that can be offered and this has been
our aim.
Plants That Grow are very proud to be able to proclaim we have been supplying
our quality plants to a national supermarket chain for over 15 years and also
to one of Her Majesty’s London parks for 11 years.
All our customers are individual and are equally important to us, we treat
every customer with the same level of interest and focus – no matter
if one plant or one thousand plants are purchased we still set the same exacting
standards; the best quality, the best price and the ultimate in customer service.
Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us; after all our name and
reputation depends upon it!
We’ve spent 50 years planting perfection and we know our plants grow
our customers tell us so!
We sow and grow nearly all of our own produce and offer the very best varieties
old and new, our glasshouses are filled with hundreds of everything from Bedding
Geraniums to flowering Cherry trees, so choice is never limited and quality
is never compromised.
We are still inspired and in awe every time a seed germinates, the leaves
are formed and the bud opens. Mother Nature is amazing and we are proud to
be her little helpers!
